I thrifted this bunch of large corks. They were strung on a rope. They were once for stopping up demijohns of wine, and have a hole for an airlock while the wine ferments. They are all different diameters but one fit my damigiana from Italy perfectly! I hope to use the rest in cork art, kind of like this from my pinterest “to make” board. Box of beauty

Found in a box from Italy today, love from a friend I cherish.  Such richness! That’s a quote from Little Women. It is awesomeness colored green and the biggest thing I’ve ever picked up from the post office.

And to give you some sense of scale:

Its called a damigiana or demijohn.
