Dishes

Can’t collect too many dishes. Breakable space hoggers. But just a few. Some day I’ll have a whole table set with mix and match awesomeness. 2 Anthro plates this week for $1.06. Sweet!

Tea bowls

I adore these little cups, perhaps remnants from a chinese restaurant. I hope to find a whole collection of them over years.

Lotta pot

Some one made this by hand, and glazed it a lot like a Lotta Jansdotter pattern. I like it’s short fat wavy self and the little handles. I think it will be a planter. $3 at the thrift store.

I found these little votive glasses. I love the chunky little lobster. I hope one day they grace a newspaper covered table for a twilight beach party. For sale in my etsy shop.

Gleanings

Here’s what I found this week. A leather dress-up belt for kids fancy outfits, $.50. A round framed tile that I will probably repaint with something else and hang. I like the shape, $3. And the lid only for my tangerine Pyrex dish.  I’ve been seeking to find it for a while now, $.50.

The pot place

With the seasonal trend encouraging plants in the home, look no further than your local thrift store for a huge selection of potting and display options. These cost from $.50-$2 and include a sugar bowl. There are so many shapes and colors to be mixed and matched!  The plants are from Ikea. I love my bit of green in the kitchen.
