Sucker for ties

The fat, textured, bright, delicious ties of several decades ago. I just can’t say no to them. They are jammy and these 5 are the latest in the collection. I’ve collected them for years and have lined my staircase with them.

    I once saw a quilt at a show that was one big Dresden plate made with neckties. It is on my “someday projects” list. 🙂

    I’ve wanted to start getting ties from thrift stores for a while, so I can sew them all together to make a skirt. I’ve seen so many good-looking tie-skirt patterns around the Internet that I really want to make myself one!
