Frame findings

I’ve been looking for a huge frame, I thought I could tilt it against a wall and make a succulent garden in it with a backing, wire, and small ledges. Succulents don’t need much soil or water and are wonderful in their radiating symmetry. But I’ve used the huge frame for another purpose, so check back soon. 4 foot frame was $5, the tan kids Gap shorts were $2, and oak framed mirror was $4.
I have been looking for a frame for a print with an odd size, 4″x8″, and here it is! I sprayed the frame white and had a spare piece of glass cut to size, Michaels did it for free! Another addition to the “I love daddy wall.”

Love the frames and the art! Now that I have a house to decorate, I think I’ll be frequenting yard sales, consignment shops, and thrift stores much more often
You can get huge printings done on graph paper (in b&w) for super cheap from Staples – I do a 3×4 foot print for each boys birthday and put the framed print outside our door to welcome guests and honor the birthday boy.
We also have one in our bedroom of the two of us. It’s a bit larger than I had anticipated and will eventually be replaced with something a bit less egotistic … I just haven’t decided on what that will be.
